A transformation in the way Chopped Leaf restaurants manage their operations is underway, thanks to the adoption of Oracle Simphony Cloud Point of Sale (POS). This cloud-based solution enables the integration of customer and operational data onto a unified platform, facilitating faster real-time reporting and enhancing decision-making processes. By streamlining these aspects, the company aims to boost efficiency and support its growth ambitions. Known for its commitment to wholesome ingredients and strong community ties, Chopped Leaf offers meals that combine freshness, customization, and bold flavors, redefining classic comfort foods.

The transition to Oracle Cloud aligns with Chopped Leaf's strategic goals to modernize and establish consistent processes across all locations. Genti Kongjika, Executive Vice President of Innovative Food Brands (IFB), emphasized the importance of this move in ensuring an exceptional dining experience at every site while expanding both domestically and internationally. The implementation of Simphony not only provides deeper insights into the performance of each location but also aids franchisees in staff training and delivering quicker service. Currently, 25 restaurants benefit from this system, with plans to extend it to the remaining 100 stores by fall, alongside opening 25 new locations in 2025.

Beyond just the POS system, Chopped Leaf leverages Oracle Workstation 6 and Kitchen Display Systems to enhance staff experiences and ensure reliable technology usage. Additionally, through the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, they have expanded their online delivery options and intend to introduce a loyalty program.
