Delays due to adverse weather conditions pushed the Patriots' initial game back, setting the stage for today's encounter with SIUE. The Cougars demonstrated strong teamwork and strategic play by securing all three doubles matches, claiming the crucial first point of the day.

The singles matches showcased intense competition between both teams. Despite the Patriots’ efforts, SIUE managed to secure victories across all six singles points, culminating in a 7-0 triumph. Notably, two matches extended into third-set tiebreakers, highlighting the fierce rivalry on the court. Amelia Gorman of the Cougars narrowly edged out George Mason's Cannan Liu in a thrilling contest, while Stefaniya Anikina reversed Lauren Splett's early lead to clinch another pivotal victory.
