An exciting opportunity awaits young music enthusiasts in San Antonio as the summer break approaches. The Children’s Chorus of San Antonio is hosting engaging summer camps designed to inspire elementary and middle school students through a rich musical experience. Participants will delve into the world of music theory, movement, and other creative activities that foster both skill development and joy. Talented members of the chorus, including Emerson Kuhl, Oryan Armstrong, and Ahriana Robles, express their passion for singing and share insights into performing on grand stages.

The program offers two distinct options to cater to different age groups. Younger participants can join the elementary music camp, open to grades 2-6, while older students can take part in a more advanced middle school choir intensive for grades 6-8. Those who register early benefit from special discounts until mid-June. Under the guidance of Dr. Carolyn Cruz, the chorus continues its mission of nurturing a diverse community of young musicians and providing them with comprehensive training. Their upcoming events include an impressive showcase at Carnegie Hall in New York, where 130 young singers will perform together, as well as a local concert titled “Untraveled Worlds,” inspired by literary themes.

Inspiring the next generation of artists, the Children’s Chorus of San Antonio creates a platform where children can explore their talents and connect with others who share their love for music. Through these camps and performances, they not only enhance their skills but also build confidence and camaraderie. By fostering creativity and teamwork, the organization demonstrates how music can unite people and enrich lives. Encouraging young voices to shine, this initiative highlights the transformative power of art in shaping vibrant futures for all involved.
